1969 Yenko SS Chevelle 427

In 1969 there where 350 Chevelles produced, Don Yenko ordered 99 of them. The super sport option of this behemoth had a 325-horsepower 396-cubic-inch V8 beneath a double domed hood.

its special features include...

- Super Sport blackout grille with bow tie emblem
- Super Sport hood
- Black rear cove panel
- 12-bolt differential with 4.10:1 gearing (code KQ)
- Standard Malibu interior
- Either SS emblem or Bow Tie emblem on steering wheel
- L72 425hp 427 (code MQ with four-speed transmission or code MP with TH400 automatic transmission).
- Optional: Side body stripes, RPO NC8 chambered exhaust.

Hello Mike,
This muscles cars aren't my favourits and i don't have any one in my collection... sometimes we have to make choices.
But they are very nice and although i don't collect them, i like to see this muscles cars.

Pure muscle! The Chevelle of this vintage is so popular in areas around the former Clark Airbase, a sought collectible car by those who remember the bygone era of American servicemen living in the region...and PX goods abound!

Thanks Erwin, yeah I remember way back in Subic and Clark, muscle cars like these were rumbling on the streets, specially in Porac, such an awesome sight! :-)
