Skoda Fabia WRC

Now we're talking Vdub!
Skoda is owned by VW-Porsche empire. Curious though, VW hasn't field a rally car since the MK1. This Fabia of course in based on the Golf. My theory is that, they would not allow their best selling nameplate (VW Golf) to be bashed and beaten in WRC. It would dent it's image as the most successful car (26 million units sold). Thus the Fabia WRC. I liked this one Mike, a refreshing choice :-)

As I know Fabia is based on the Polo, not the Golf. The Octavia is based on the Golf.
The VW-Audi AG owns Skoda from 1992.

This model is qiute nice. But I would like to have a Skoda 130 RS, because I prefer old school rallying.
