60eme Rallye Automobile de Monte Carlo

This is the prestigeuos 1992 Rallye de Monte Carlo where Didier Auriol and co driver Bernard Occeli
grabbed the championship for Martini Racing Team. Overall time for the 3339.82km race with 606.08km
of special stages was  6:54.20, two minutes ahead of the 2nd placer Carlos Sainz and Luis Moya in their
Toyota Celica Turbo 4WD of Toyota Team Europe.     

Kyosho was faithfull in making this model and the details are truly superb, even for an old release.
Done in 1:18 scale.

I did some experimental shots using only available light that was far away from the subject at hand
and this was the outcome. Hope you like 'em.

    Hi JDMike,

    Superb Lancia Delta Rally car diecast , great photo & story.

    What camera & brand do you use to take all tihs photo ?
    Technic - distance between camera & the object , do you put extra lights from the ceiling or wall like in the studio ?

    Hope you can share some of your experience with us.

    Fantastic, JDMike!
    This Delta is one of my favourits.

    It's one brutal model from Kyosho with great details (the scale gives a good help in the details) but they did a very nice job.

    Kin, to answer your inquiry, I use a Nikon dslr with a 17-55mm lens(kit) and lighting is just available light, just lower your shutter speed and your ISO settings, using a tripod is a must for these kind of shots.
