  1. Mike, you just outdid yourself. Do you organize seminars on model cars picture-taking at your place? I'd be the first one to go! ;)

  2. thanks Sir Laurent! :-)

that seminar is a great idea but i will attend also just to learn hehe! still an amateur when it comes to digital photography, my 2 lamps and my colored board papers are the ones that does the trick. :-)

  3. ...yes, but they do the trick PERFECTLY! At least I could learn how you manage an artificial source of light. Since I moved I have trouble with natural light and consider switching to artificial. Seriously, the last two sets of pictures were just fantastic!

  4. I do love your backgrounds too, but why don't you try putting some kind of garage there? That would be relevant in the most cases of your featured models.

  6. sir Laurent, I just use 2 flourecent light and added some tracing or parchment paper covering the front part of the lamp so that the brightness wouldn't be to harshe on the models. Try it sometime. :-)

Thanks Rajen for the link on the garage, am planning to make one maybe at the end of the year when I am not too busy. I do have other dioramas for my models and have outside location shots too, but this colored backgrounds does the trick when I am in a hurry.

Thanks again Jovet for appreciating! :-)

  9. yes sir Laurent, make sure that the wattage of your bulb is a little higher because placing parchment paper will darken your lamp a bit.

    goodluck :-)

thanks Mervin, when I am in the mood, I go for outside shots as well, but most of the times when I am too busy, thats the easiest way hehe!
