Petter Solberg Subaru Impreza WRC 2003

With the 2003 world championship and a few 2nd places and some rallycross championship, Petter Solberg is one of the best rally drivers of this present era.

I like about this Vitesse/Skid diecast version is that it has a driver and co driver figure inside.
This is the Wales Rally of Great Britain, Petter Solberg and co driver Phil Mills.

Umagang Kay Ganda features DCPH

Umagang Kay Ganda (UKG) the top rating morning show from the number one TV company here in the Philippines featured our group, Diecast-car Club of the Philippines. I had a few hours sleep only yesterday because of overtime work, but I still manage to wake up at 3am. The call time was at 4am and we have to be there early for the set-up. It was actually the 2nd time that DCPH was featured in UKG. Andy, one of our senior member was featured about 3-4 months ago featuring his 1:18 Ferrari collections. This time it was an invasion hehe!

this is one of our members (Jomar) DIY custom 1:64 car case, its portable and can be set up in under 5 mins. Great case Jomar!

Its now around 6:30am and a few minutes more of checking before the interview begins.


The 1st interview was yours truly... together with Kuya Kim(TV host) asking a few questions about my collection.


then it was Dareen's turn, by the way, nice shirt Dareen!




after a few sponsor ads, it was Andy's turn, Kuya Kim handling one of Andy's priced possession, a one of a kind Mercedes Benz SLR custom GT by our great custom builder XJCarlo!

It was another tiring but fulfilling day for DCPH! After the show, the club had a lot of additional new registrants in our forum yesterday! Kudos to all!

Back To Back Champions

Finally got the second edition (or should I say the first) of the podium diorama Lancer Evolution WRC set. This is the 1998 Rally San Remo Winner Mitsubishi Lancer Evo V driven by Tommi Makinen and Risto Mannisenmaki.




Together with my 1999 Rally Australia Winner Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI which I posted almost a year ago.
