After a few years collecting them, I finally decided to let go of my 1:64 scaled diecast, the first to go are my tomicas, mostly all of my collection except for a very few limited vintage that would stay with me.
Its a good thing a collector friend will take good care of my babies. I have to move on to bigger things (bigger scale that is) hehe! I really need the space and my 1:43 scaled diecast can be stacked one over the other and therefore leaves me enough space for more!
I will miss them, but thats ok, I know they'll be in good hands.
here they are...
including some modified ones...
more regulars...
now safely in a nice box, awaiting its new owner...
Next would be some Matchbox, Johnny Lightnings and other 1:64 cars.... soon!
Why give away? Is your house that full of cars? It is really a pity, but i envy the new owner.
ReplyDeleteA pity to leave the world of miniature diecast.. nonetheless, I hope you will find greater pleasure in the more detailed bigger scale models =) cheers!
ReplyDeletebro, are you serious?? i would be more then happy to help you keep them =D thats alot of 1/64 diecast! drooling over the GTR,civic and the beemers!! wish i had half of those!
ReplyDeletebtw goodluck with your collection of bigger diecast.. =( but one things for sure i really hope to see more 1/64 diecast customization..
ah.........you should leave those lancer's and evo's to me !!
ReplyDeletethanks for the replies everyone.
ReplyDeletethe 1:64 customs will still be on going because my friends still want their diecast to be restored and customized.
and Andrew the tomy evos and other evo brands in small scale will stay hehe!
thanks guys!
What a pity! :( Now, I lost a true 1/64 collector.
ReplyDeleteP/S: Is there any chance for me to have some your Bugs? I swear I will take care of them with my best :)
jd, im also interested keeping them, or buying them also! hehe... got a lot of models i wanted!
ReplyDelete:(
ReplyDeleteI would like to get the M-21 Tomica Tomy Mitsubishi Lancer Rally car, because I can't find anywhere in Hungary.
Is it solvable to ship it to Hungary a reasonable price? Or it would be only a dream?
Or the new owner took it over soon?
Wah... let go your Tomica ....
ReplyDeleteA lot of my dream collection...
Well, wish you enjoy your big scale collection.
thanks for the replies everyone, but my friend bought the whole collection already. I still am gonna collect 1:64 scale model cars but would be in a limited choice already.
ReplyDeleteSad to hear, you are giving up most of your Tomica collection for 1/43 scale diecast.
ReplyDeleteBut the good news is, your friend will be the one very lucky to get all of your Tomica.
But I still hope you enjoy the bigger scale car. I am expecting better and greater things you can do on the 1/43 scale diecast you can make the 1/64 scale diecast so well.
thanks Melvin! :-)
ReplyDeleteyes i'm more happy with the 43's scale. :-)
Glad to know you're not disposing of your small-scale evos!
ReplyDeleteI miss my collection, especially the Tomica Evo 7s. :(

ReplyDeletehey guys, sorry i didnt read your comments, yup my tomy evos would be the last to go, thanks Ger, Bany and Jerome! :-)
ReplyDeleteoh man, sad to hear that....
ReplyDeleteluckily u still do customization!
Mike, that's a big move on your part. =literally and figuratively. But you've chosen well. 43's are the best scale to collect IMHO. 64's come second only. Welcome to our world of serious collecting=1/43
ReplyDeleteCheers
Erwin
i'm sad to hear this!
ReplyDeletethere is a moment in which the collector must choose the collection to follow.
ReplyDeleteyou cannot collect everything in every size.
no money and no space will ever be enough.
