This was my very first custom job, way back 4 years ago, finally found it in some old boxes from my kids stuff, a little dusty but still mint. This is actually a regular casting of a Hotwheels Dairy Delivery...

I was experimenting on what to do with this casting, and there are a lot of customizers that did this casting, so I made something different.
The only thing back then is that I wasn't aware that "clear top coat" was needed to seal the decals to the body, good thing the decals still holds firmly, these are ink jet decals printed on our ink jet printer here in the office. The back part I cut off and placed different parts from different tow trucks. Wheels came from a Jada 50's Mercury.
Hope you like it!

thank you Tommi and thans also to my Guest for appreciating and visiting my site.
too bad i did'nt get to take pictures of the work in progress because i wasn't planning on making a blog before. But to give you an idea, i used a metal saw before because i didn't have a rotary cutting tool before, so it took ages cutting it.
this is your FIRST custom?! im totally blown away!! :-O
yeah i use a small handsaw now, and to cut that i imagine would have taken a long long long time and a whole lotta patience. and some elbow grease for good measure.
i've never seen a DD customized like that, well done. add that to the fact that this is your first custom, makes this one really awesome. hats off dude. :-)
thanks Eugene! :-)
its like baptism of fire!
made a hard one first, so i will know my limits, i only made a few fantasy cars.
Great job! How did you paint the model? With spray? How exactly did you make the decals? I understand that You used an inkjet printer, but on what did you print?
