Some 1:64 scaled Ferrari Customs and Restorations

These where a few custom and restoration jobs I made before. I just can't help looking at them so plainly and unrealistic. Its one of the reason I customize my diecast cars, specially those released by Hotwheels.

This first Ferrari 512BB was a gift from my friend Gerry, Its a Yatming brand.

I painted it, gave it some new wheels and fabricated the intake scoops in the back.

here it is...

next would be the Hotwheels Ferrari F355 ( the regular version)

I didn't touch the original paint on this car, I just added details like blackened windshield pillars and front grills, also painted the interior in tan leather and changed the wheels also.

here it is...

The old Berlineta Lusso by Lesney, mine came in the original green and tried repainting it in red.
I don't know what matchbox was smokin' when they painted this Ferrari green! Well anyway,
I wasn't convinced about this custom I made so I have to change the wheels and added realism by cutting of those metal headlamps and replacing them with rhinestones.

this was the outcome...

And finally the Ferrari 250TR. I hated when Mattel made this casting simply because they always ignore painting the underpart of the front nose! Looks ridiculous when you have the red car. Anyway, I just painted this in red, added details, painted the interior also, and change the wheels to a more proper one.

the original version...

and the outcome...

now for some group pictures...
