Bugatti EB Veyron by Autoart 1:64scale

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is the most powerful, most expensive, and fastest street-legal production car in the world, with a proven top speed of over 400 km/h (407 km/h or 253 mph). It reached full production in September 2005. The car is built by Volkswagen AG subsidiary Bugatti Automobiles SAS and is sold under the legendary Bugatti marque. It is named after racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti firm.

I watched this mighty beast in Top Gear, where the Bugatti (driven by Jeremy Clarkson) raced a Cesna Plane Driven By James May in a race across Europe. I also watched another episode of Top Gear where Richard Hammond raced this Veyron againts a fighter jet. The third episode came in as a top speed test drive somewhere in Germany at a Volkswagen high speed test track. It was James May on the wheel this time, and he clocked an amazing 407kph top speed! I remember James saying, that at top speed, the Veyron is travelling at one football lenght in a second. The tires would be consumed in about 15mins. and the fuel would only last about 12mins.
I'm just wondering why Bugatti hasn't lend Top Gear and "The Stig" a Veyron for a lap time test in their "Power Lap" segment?

Autoart made an excellent diecast version of the Veyron, scale ranges from 1:12, 1:18, 1:43 and 1:64 and all have exquisite quality. Its one of my dearest diecast in my collection.
